I got these specifically because it said absorbentI searched on many websites for a week to find the perfect coasters for my new home. When I found these I thought they'd be perfect. They just arrived and they seem solidly built and a good quality. They're ceramic with a cork piece on the back.My issue though is the quality of the image. There are no marks or printing errors, but the whole design is quite faded. Since the image is space it really stands out to me. It's like a hazy layer was printed over the image. Very different than the sample image which has deep blacks and bright color's.
