I needed a creative gift for my husband and this was the perfect thing. He loved the realistic look of the instrument panels. A neat addition to his office. These made for a really nice gift for someone that loves all things aviation! Great coasters for your desk or aviation collection!these are perfect to add to my sim cockpit control instrument panel on a budget to give me that physical tactile control panel for flight sim until i can get the funds up to build a fully working one ! i do wish i could get hold of an oil , temperature and fuel gauge as wellThese coasters are rather pricey for what it is, however, I bought them for a completely different application...To make my own desk/wall clock. I loved the wall clocks from the same company but found them to be rather pricey (starting at $30). Also, they are all wall clocks and I wanted something smaller for my desk.I decided to take matters in my own hand and go the DIY route. I bought this wall clock mechanism and used the coaster as the watch face/body -https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F2TXCXP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I made two clocks for around $26 and I am quite happy with the way it turned out. I use one in my office and one at my home desk.I recently built a plane in my garage and used what I now know to be coasters as my gauges. Man was I up set when I drove my kit build of duct tape, garbage bags, and dental floss to my local international airport only to be told I couldn't take off. Apparently you have to have an inspection for safety before flying what everyone kept air qouting as my "aircraft" before I'd be aloud on the run way... Well if they think they're so smart I'll show them later tonight when the freeway traffic dies down. Cleared for take off lane two of the I-17 ace.Just some stickers on plastic coasters. Doesn't seem to be the highest quality, but I like them, and they have worked well. They are not shaped or cut in a way such they stack easily, so they often look cluttery and disorganized. There is a rim which seems to be a two-edged sword. It will contain any moisture from a glass that sweats, but it also limits the size of glass or bowl you can set on it. If a glass does sweat, these coasters have a tendency to stick to the bottom of glass then fall off shortly after.Product is well made, they are a conversation piece. Good ides and a good buy for the moneyMy dad is a retired flyer, so naturally when I saw these I knew they would be perfect. They did not disappoint! He absolutely loves them and could not stop talking about them!
